The "Rising Stars" are a middle school show choir from Evans Middle School in Ottumwa, Iowa. The group consists of 47 non-auditioned singers and 5 combo members in grades 6-8. This season the Rising Stars will perform at Indianola, Central Lee, and Quincy IL. This year's show celebrates the music that has been given new life because of the pop culture phenomenon "Stranger Things". The goal of the Evans Middle School show choir is to give students the opportunity to experience show choir by making the ensemble accessible to all. We are very excited and grateful to everyone who has made it possible for us to be traveling for our second competition season! Under the direction of Katie Streeby, with band assistance from Mika Hrdlicka, and choreographed by Jordan Webster-Moore, we hope you enjoy the "RISING STARS"!
